We are excited to introduce our esteemed partner, TUM (Technical University of Munich)! 🌟

About TUM

Based in Munich since 1868, TUM is Germany’s highest-ranked university in the QS World University Ranking and a leading entrepreneurial institution. As a global hub for knowledge exchange, it shapes the future through talent, excellence, and responsibility. The TUM Department of Mobility Systems focuses on the technological aspects of the mobility transition, analyzing mobility behavior, modeling sustainable transport systems, and developing innovative vehicle concepts and climate-friendly drive systems.

TUM’s role in WinWin4WorkLife

TUM focuses on forecasting the spatial and environmental impacts of remote work. It will enhance an integrated land use and transport model to assess the effects on household and employment relocation, transport, and related health and environmental factors. TUM will also conduct an employee survey in the Munich metropolitan region. In WW4WL, TUM leverages its expertise in travel analytics and modeling.

Remote Work Experience

Ana Tsui Moreno, team member for TUM, shares her insights:

“To ensure a successful transition to long-term remote work, we need to set clear expectations, maintain regular check-ins, and foster open feedback to keep the team aligned and focused. Using up-to-date technology is also crucial, especially in creating channels that can partially replace informal interactions, which help maintain team cohesion.”
