Partner Spotlight 4/15: DCHE
We are thrilled to introduce today an other partner of the WW4WL project, the Danish Committee for Health Education (DCHE)! 🌟
About DCHE
Founded in 1964, the Danish Committee for Health Education (DCHE) or Komiteen for Sundhedsoplysning is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to enhancing national health literacy and supporting well-being from cradle to grave. DCHE collaborates closely with public authorities like the Ministry of Health and the National Board of Health, as well as various private organisations in the health field. With more than 40 employees, DCHE develops and produces health promotion materials for a range of themes and audiences. Recently, the organisation has branched out to work with international partners, supporting well-being and mental health in a broader European perspective.
DCHE’s role in WinWin4WorkLife
DCHE contributes its extensive experience in mental health and well-being to the WinWin4WorkLife project by assisting with survey design and evaluating the impact of remote work on mental health, productivity, and overall organisational well-being. Their work is essential in understanding the broader implications of remote work on health and quality of life.
Remote Work Experience
Andreas Jespersen, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗖𝗛𝗘, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 his 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
“As many, we worked fully remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The new policy is now to come a few days a week at the office. One challenge was managing back-to-back meetings, which often led to exhaustion. We found that shorter, creative scheduling and regular breaks were key to maintaining productivity and well-being. Despite the challenges, we experienced a surge in global collaboration and a greater sense of being part of a worldwide professional community.”
