LISER’s role in WinWin4WorkLife

As the Project Coordinator for WinWin4WorkLife, LISER plays a pivotal role. They lead the project management and coordination, ensuring smooth operations and successful execution of project goals.

Remote Work Experience

Meet Veronique Van Acker, our project coordinator. Veronique shares her insights on remote work:

“I work from home on Mondays, and occasionally on Fridays. During the COVID-19 pandemic, both my husband and I worked from home full-time, which sometimes proved challenging but also highlighted the importance of flexible working arrangements. LISER supported us by investing in essential tools like Teams and better VPN connections. Our organization has become more restrictive with remote work recently,  to avoid inequalities among its employees as taxation and social security differ between residents and cross-border workers. An important issue in a cross-border region like Luxembourg.”
